End of Lease Pest Control
Gold Coast and Logan end of lease treatments. This is a simple job done once the bond clean is finished and everything is out of the property, usually as the last step before the keys go back. Choose an internal flea treatment, or an internal and external pest and flea treatment, to match what your agreement asks for.
Internal flea treatment, or internal and external pest and flea
Done after the bond clean, with the property empty
Spray to the internal perimeters and carpeted areas
Invoice and treatment record sent the same day
Key collection from your agent if you cannot be there, prepayment if nobody is on site
Property managers and landlords: we invoice the agency direct
Licensed and insured, Queensland pest management licence PMT 011689823

What Does an End of Lease Treatment Include?
A basic vacate treatment, flea only or pest and flea, done after the clean so it is not wiped straight back up.
A spray to the internal perimeters: skirtings and wall edges through the property
Carpeted areas treated for fleas
On the pest and flea option, an external perimeter spray around the building for cockroaches, ants and spiders
Carried out after the bond clean and carpet cleaning, with the property empty
Products registered for the job, applied under our Queensland pest management licence
An invoice and treatment record the same day, ready to forward to your agent
A straightforward job done properly, with nothing added that you do not need

Our Process
1
Tell us the job
Tell us the address, whether it is a unit, townhouse or house, and whether the agreement asks for flea only or pest and flea.
2
Book after the clean
We book you in for after the bond clean and carpet cleaning, once everything is out of the property. If you cannot be there we can collect the keys from your agent, with payment taken up front.
3
Treatment
A spray to the internal perimeters and carpeted areas, plus the external perimeter on the pest and flea option.
4
Paperwork same day
Your invoice and treatment record are sent the same day, ready for your agent and the exit inspection.

Which end of lease treatment do you need?
Internal end of lease flea treatment
Spray to the internal perimeters and carpeted areas
For leases where pets have been kept and the agreement asks for a flea treatment on exit
The one most agreements call for
Internal and external end of lease pest and flea treatment
Everything in the internal flea treatment
External perimeter spray around the building for cockroaches, ants and spiders
For agreements that ask for a pest treatment as well as fleas
Not sure which one? Send us the wording from your agreement and we will tell you.
Book it last
Floors cleaned, carpets done, everything out of the property, then us. If we come before the cleaners, most of the treatment gets mopped and vacuumed straight back up and the job is wasted. If your cleaners run late, tell us and we will move your booking rather than treat too early.
Quick answers
Do I need to be there? No. We can collect the keys from your agent if required. If nobody can be on site we take payment before the booking.
What do I get afterwards? Your invoice and treatment record, sent the same day, ready to forward to your agent for the exit inspection.
Will it fix an existing pest problem? A vacate spray is not a treatment for an active infestation. If the property has an active cockroach or ant problem, that is a separate general pest treatment and we will tell you rather than pretend a vacate spray will fix it.
Do I have to get it done? It depends on your agreement. Under Queensland tenancy law you need to leave the property in the same condition it was in at the start, fair wear and tear excepted. Where a pet was approved, the agreement can include a condition that the property is professionally fumigated at the end of the tenancy if the pet can carry parasites such as fleas, and that carpets are professionally cleaned if the pet was allowed inside.
Can my agent tell me who to use? No. Your property manager or owner cannot require you to use a specific pest control company, pay a set fee or use a particular product. The Residential Tenancies Authority covers this on its carpet cleaning and pest control page.
Property managers and landlords
Send us the address, the access details and what the agreement calls for. We will book it in after the clean and send the treatment record through for your file.
